What can I expect from my massage session?

Your specific concerns and goals for the session will be discussed and your session will be focused on your desired results.

What are you doing to keep me safe during the COVID pandemic?

As usual, linens are changed, surfaces cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant and hand washing procedures are strictly adhered to. Additionally, air filters have been brought into the treatment rooms and clients wait in their car or the lobby until we text for them. In this way, we control the number of people in the office at all times. We let clients in one at a time and escort you directly to the treatment room so there is no more than one person in the waiting area at a time.

What if I fall asleep?

That is ok and a sign that you are relaxed and comfortable. If you fall asleep, we will continue to work as if you were still awake.

I have gone to other places and thought I was getting an hour massage, but only got 50 minutes (or less).

If you arrive on time, you receive the full time you pay for hands on. The time between appointments used to clean the room is not baked into your session like many other establishments.

Do I have to get undressed?

The therapist will leave the room and instruct you to disrobe to your comfort level and situate yourself under the covers on the table. You can remain fully clothed, disrobe entirely or anywhere in between. The important thing is that you are comfortable. We are strict about our draping methods and the only area of your body exposed at any time is the area being worked on at that time.

I hate when I get a massage and the therapist talks the whole time. Can I just have quiet while I am massaged?

Of course! It is your session, the therapist will ask occasionally if you are comfortable and how are you doing, but other than that, you will dictate the amount of talking. If you are uncomfortable with anything you should absolutely speak up, you can engage in respectful conversation if you like (some people like conversation with their massage), or you can just relax and not speak (other than to let us know if everything is ok or if anything makes you uncomfortable). It is up to you.
